New Segment of SR 400 Now Open to Northbound Motorists
On March 1, Forsyth County motorists got their first chance to try out a portion of the new northbound lane on SR 400 when GDOT removed construction barrels from approximately 1,000 feet of roadway. Roadwork continues from just north of the Bald Ridge Marina Road overpass to SR 369. The widening of the northbound segment of SR 400 has an expected completion date of late May or early June, about the same time the southbound widening is set to begin.
