McFarland Parkway Resurfacing Underway
Updated Nov. 17, 2016: The contractor is scheduled to have all paving on McFarland Parkway between McGinnis Ferry Road and Union Hill Road completed by the end of this week. Work will continue on the remaining section of McFarland Parkway - between Union Hill Road and SR 9 - which is scheduled to be completed during the week of November 28.
Nov. 15, 2016: Resurfacing is underway on McFarland Parkway from SR 9 to McGinnis Ferry Road, and the work is expected to be completed before Thanksgiving. The work is slated for weekdays only and, to help reduce the impact on motorists, there will be no lane closures before 9 a.m. or after 4 p.m. as part of this project. We appreciate motorists’ patience as we continue to work to improve Forsyth County’s roads!
