Marine Personal Property Tax Returns Can Now be Filed Online Through Forsyth County Website

Forsyth County residents seeking to renew, add or remove marine personal property on their existing tax return account with the County can now do so entirely online through the County’s Marine Personal Property Digital Tool.

“By utilizing this new digital tool, residents that own marine properties can now file their tax returns from the comfort of home,” said Forsyth County Chief Appraiser Mary Kirkpatrick. “We are excited to provide this virtual component to make the process as easy as possible for residents.”

New marine craft owners must make their initial filing manually for their marine property using the PT-50M online form in order for the Tax Assessor’s office to create an initial account. Starting with their second filing, residents will be able to file online through the new tool.
