Big Creek Greenway Repairs

The Board of Commissioners and Parks & Recreation staff are prioritizing the longevity of the Big Creek Greenway for the sections under repair and are using a design-bid-build approach to expedite the project.

Sharon Springs Park Renovation

The Board has set into motion the renovations for Sharon Springs Park in south Forsyth, which will connect to the nearby Sexton Hall Senior Services Center and Tax Commissioner’s Office on Chloe Road.

Forsyth County Parks & Recreation is updating their 10-year Master Plan. Provide your input.

Intergovernmental Agreement with Forsyth County Board of Education for Joint Fuel Sites

Forsyth County is partnering with Forsyth County Schools to share fuel sites and save taxpayer dollars on County vehicles and buses.

Residential Rezoning Moratorium

To ease the burden of growth on schools, public safety and infrastructure, a moratorium has been placed to pause residential rezonings in unincorporated Forsyth County as policies, like the Tree Ordinance, are addressed and updated.

Services Agreement with One-to-One Health for Employee Wellness Services

The County will be utilizing clinic services from One-to-One Health at the future Administration Building to invest in the health and wellness of Forsyth County employees and save costs on benefits.

North Forsyth Design Initiative

As part of the residential rezoning moratorium, the Board will be setting a standard for the design and community character of north Forsyth.
