“We are looking for a private enterprise for the equestrian center that will be able to operate the stable building and equine program at the Polo Fields,” said Director of Parks & Recreation Jim Pryor. “We have toured some other local equestrian facilities and are partnering with a supervisor of a similar local facility to provide support on reviewing the proposals submitted.”
Proposals for the lease and management services of the Polo Field Equestrian Center must be submitted in the order stated in the LOI by 2 p.m. on Sept. 1.
A pre-proposal meeting for any interested parties will be held at the Polo Fields Equestrian Center (5890 Polo Dr.) at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16. All firms having interest in this LOI are strongly encouraged to attend.
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners made a time sensitive motion to allow for the advertisement of the LOI during their Tuesday, July 26, work session. More details on the scope of the lease and management of the facility can be found during the presentation made to the board during the work session which can be viewed here.
