Special Election to Fill Forsyth County District 2 Commission Post to be Held November 7
A special election to fill the Forsyth County District 2 commission post will be held Tuesday, November 7. Rick Swope resigned from the post August 15, as a result of his recent acceptance of an executive position with E*TRADE, a position which strictly limits outside business activities including public service positions. The special election will fill Swope’s unexpired term, which runs through December 31, 2020.
