Forsyth County Renames Roads to Honor Fallen Public Safety Personnel
Dedication ceremony to be held April 14   As a way to honor four Forsyth County public safety personnel who fell in the line of duty, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recently approved the renaming of four roads.   At their February 23, 2016 work session, the board unanimously approved a Resolution designating honorary names for four county roads or road segments – two memorializing fallen firefighters and two memorializing fallen deputies.   The Resolution states that “every citizen of Forsyth County owes a debt of gratitude to the courageous men and women who fell while in service to this county and the ...
