Debris Removal from Tropical Storm Irma Underway
Beginning Monday, November 13, a contractor will be picking up storm debris left behind by Tropical Storm Irma from within the right of way along Forsyth County-maintained roads. The work will be performed by two contactors. Forsyth County government continues to closely monitor Tropical Storm Irma and prepare for any potential impacts it may have on our area. The county’s Emergency Operations Center has been activated to coordinate the county’s response and resources. County departments and agencies are prepared to implement emergency plans as conditions warrant. Tropical Storm force winds are expected and may bring down trees and power lines. Remember to always treat downed power lines as if they are live.
