The trail’s soft-surface material will be coated with a polymer product Chattahoochee Pointe park is scheduled to close Tuesday, May 30, for approximately one week in order to coat the trail with a polymer product. This trail improvement was planned in conjunction with the recent Chattahoochee Pointe park improvements but needed the right outdoor temperature to complete the work. The polymer product, called M10+50, is a long-lasting, cost-effective solution to maintaining the life of the trail. Ribbon cutting ceremony held to commemorate improvements   Improvements were recently completed at Forsyth County’s Chattahoochee Pointe, a 119-acre park located at 5790 Chattahoochee Pointe Drive in south Forsyth County. The improvements include extending the park’s existing trail to create a 5K trail and adding a new restroom building. Trails are a very popular recreational amenity in Forsyth County and the county is continually working to maintain and expand the various trail offerings.
