The trail’s soft-surface material will be coated with a polymer product

Chattahoochee Pointe park is scheduled to close Tuesday, May 30, for approximately one week in order to coat the trail with a polymer product. This trail improvement was planned in conjunction with the recent Chattahoochee Pointe park improvements but needed the right outdoor temperature to complete the work.

The polymer product, called M10+50, is a long-lasting, cost-effective solution to maintaining the life of the trail. It will stabilize the trail surface and reduce future maintenance costs, and the cost is less than standard concrete or asphalt. Chattahoochee Pointe park will be the only Forsyth County park with this product.

Chattahoochee Pointe park is located at 5790 Chattahoochee Pointe Drive in southern Forsyth County. For more information on Chattahoochee Pointe park, visit the Parks & Recreation page or call (770) 781-2215.
