Tuesday, June 9, is Election Day for the General Primary, Nonpartisan General Election and Presidential Preference Primary. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Forsyth County registered voters must go to their designated polling place to cast a vote.

To confirm registration info, verify an Election Day polling place and to review a sample ballot, please visit the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page.

In light of the pandemic, Poll Workers will be following the County, state and federal recommended guidelines at polling locations. Voters will be instructed to maintain a safe distance throughout the voting process to help ensure the health and safety of the voters and the poll workers. In order to implement these changes, voting equipment numbers have been reduced. Additionally, voting equipment and other items will be sanitized routinely. Voters are asked to anticipate increased wait times and lines on Election Day. Due to the length of the ballot, voters are encouraged to review a sample ballot prior to going to the polls to vote and may do so by clicking here.
