VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:

These are unprecedented times.

And although we are facing new challenges as a County,

Please know that your government is working to make the right decisions to keep you,

your family,

your businesses,

and your community safe.

Each decision that we make is not taken lightly

And each one is made after careful consideration for how it will impact our community.

We appreciate the role that each of you has taken on to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so we could flatten the curve.

Because of your sacrifices

patience,

and perseverance

we WILL be stronger as a community on the other side of this storm

So - To the medical professionals and first responders keeping us safe

To the essential workers keeping our businesses going

To the parents who are now full-time educators

To the business leaders who are facing challenges never seen before

To those diagnosed with this virus that are taking it head on

And to each and every resident of our great County

We hear you,

We are with you

And we will all get through this together.

Thank you and God bless our nation and God bless Forsyth County.
