Keep Forsyth County Beautiful welcomes everyone to take part in the Great FoCo Cleanup by helping remove litter from the community’s roadways on Saturday, March 21. The effort is a part of the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup.

Participants – either as an organized team of volunteers or as individuals – will meet at the Central Park Recreation Center (2300 Keith Bridge Road) at 9 a.m. for a brief rally to start the cleanup event. Volunteers will then depart to clean up roadways in the community before returning to the recreation center for food and fun.

“Anyone can make a positive impact on their community, whether they are individual residents, community organizations, families or businesses,” said Forsyth County Manager of Environmental Programs Tammy Wright. “It is a great thing to see the community come together for events such as this to help our county thrive.”

Volunteers with pickup trucks are also needed following the event to help collect trash from the various clean-up locations.

Please pre-register to receive detailed information. Participants can register by visiting KeepForsythCountyBeautiful.org, emailing KFCB@forsythco.com or by calling (770) 205-4573.
