The United States flag will be displayed at half-staff at Forsyth County government facilities on Tuesday, September 11, 2019, in recognition of Patriot Day following a proclamation by President Donald J. Trump and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp.

By a joint resolution approved 12/18/2001, Public Law 107-89 has designated September 11 of each year as "Patriot Day" which also directs flags be lowered to half-staff for the entire day on September 11.
