The meeting will be held at the Fowler Park Recreation Center (4110 Carolene Way) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5. “We encourage the community to attend the meeting to see the design plans and provide their thoughts,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. A public meeting was held in March that allowed residents the chance to provide input on updates to current facilities as well as designs for additional amenities. Caney Creek Preserve currently features a dog park, 1.5-mile nature trail, playground and two picnic pavilions. The updated Caney Creek Preserve master plan project is being funded by SPLOST VII.
