January Planning Commission Meeting Cancelled
Items postponed to Feb. meeting The Forsyth County Planning Commission regular meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2019, has been cancelled due to inclement weather.  All orders of business that were scheduled to be heard on this date will be postponed to the next regular Planning Commission meeting, which will be at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2019. Planning Commission meetings are held in Suite 220 of the Forsyth County Administration Building (110 E. Main St.).

UPDATE: January 17, 2019 - The full report has been received and is available on the Engineering Department Stormwater Division page. At the Jan. 8 Board of Commissioners work session, the board heard a presentation on the county’s ability to conduct water quality testing, as part of the EPA’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations and in alignment with Forsyth County’s Stormwater Management Program (SWMP). The SWMP is designed to prevent harmful pollutants from being discharged into local waterways.
