Drone flying field located at future site of Denmark Park Forsyth County Parks and Recreation has opened a new drone flying field at the future site of Denmark Park (500 Windy Hill Dr.) in the southwestern portion of the County. Forsyth County has joined the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), leaving the Georgia Mountain Regional Commission (GMRC), effective July 1, 2021. Three public hearings to allow for public input The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners today announces its intention to maintain the County’s Maintenance & Operations, Bond and Fire millage rates currently in place with no change. Due to the growth in the tax digest, Maintenance & Operations property taxes levied by the County this year will increase by a net 1.98% over the rollback millage rate. John Mullin joined Forsyth County government as Code Compliance and Animal Services director on June 23, 2021.  Mullin brings over 20 years of law enforcement experience.
