Please use caution when you see these crews working along county roadways. Please do not move debris from private property onto county right of way. UPDATED (September 8, 2017): Half of the new roundabout has been paved and is now open to traffic, giving motorists access onto Dr. Bramblett Rd. Work will continue on the second half of the roundabout in the coming weeks. In April, Forsyth County government launched a new web page – www.forsythco.com/transportation – on the county website to allow citizens to quickly and easily locate details on county transportation projects including road widenings, intersection improvements and more. Progress on the widening of SR 400 in Forsyth County continues! A new, nearly 1-mile section of SR 400 northbound between SR 306 and SR 369 is now open to traffic. Because work on the bridge over Lake Lanier is still underway, motorists should consider the new left lane as a long turn lane for those accessing SR 369. Updated August 18, 2017: The reconstructed intersection of Martin Road at State Route 9 in northern Forsyth County reopened to through traffic this morning. Thank you to motorists’ for your patience during the temporary closure that allowed these improvements to be completed. A portion of Martin Road, located in northern Forsyth County, will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning Monday, June 12.
