Forsyth County Senior Services’ Sexton Hall Enrichment Center (2115 Chloe Rd.) has been named First Runner Up for Best Senior Activity Center by the Appen Media Group in their annual Best of North Atlanta Awards. Forsyth County Senior Services will be recognized for the award in the organization’s four publications on Thursday, Sept. 20. Those publications are the Forsyth Herald, Alpharetta Roswell Herald, Johns Creek Herald and Milton Herald. New Community Garden Now Open at Sexton Hall Community Center
Forsyth County Senior Services unveils new garden for community use A dedication ceremony and tree planting was held at Sexton Hall, located at 2115 Chloe Road (off of Sharon Road), on June 13 to kick off a new community garden. 25th annual National Senior Health and Fitness Day will take place on Wednesday, May 30 Forsyth County Senior Services will host special activities for residents in two of their active adult centers, Sexton Hall Enrichment Center and Hearthstone Lodge Fitness Facility, on National Senior Health and Fitness Day.  Wednesday, May 30 will mark the 25th anniversary of the nation’s largest health and wellness event geared to older adults. Forsyth County Senior Services Handbag Auction to Benefit Older Adults in Need
Handbag auction taking place April 28   Forsyth County Senior Services will host a handbag auction event on Saturday, April 28 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Sexton Hall Enrichment Center located at 2115 Chloe Drive.   Gently used handbags, purses and wallets donated earlier this year will be available for bidding through a silent auction, with a few special items being auctioned off live.
