TAX COMMISSIONER'S OFFICES REOPEN TO PUBLIC JUNE 1, 2020

FORSYTH COUNTY TAX COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE LOCATIONS REOPEN TO PUBLIC JUNE 1st 2020.  VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS DUE BETWEEN MARCH 16th 2020 AND JUNE 14th 2020 HAVE BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH JUNE 15th.

Both Forsyth County Tax Commissioner’s Office locations reopened to the public on Monday, June 1st 2020.  We continue to encourage all to utilize alternative methods of service during the COVID-19 pandemic, however should you choose to visit we ask for your patience as we anticipate longer than usual wait times & customer lines.  We will also be limiting the number of individuals allowed inside at any one time, to that of the number of available customer service representatives.

To help further ensure your health and safety, and that of our other customers & staff:

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER IF:

  • You are not feeling well

  • You have experienced a fever within the last 14 days

  • You are experiencing a cough

  • You have any shortness of breath

  • You have a compromised immune system

  • You have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days

 

IF ENTERING OUR OFFICE:

  • Please limit your transaction(s) to two (2) people per household or business.

  • Maintain a minimum 6 feet of distance between you and other customers

  • For motor vehicle transactions, please have all necessary documentation with requirements met – i.e. valid GA driver’s license, current GA vehicle insurance, valid emissions test (certain model years 1996-2017

Citizens aged 60 or over, and parents with small children, are encouraged to use any of the following alternative methods of service:
