NOTICE

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a Work Session on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room, Suite 220 in the Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 East Main Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040.

The purpose of the Work Session will be for discussion and consideration of the items as outlined on the attached agenda and such other business as may properly come before the Board.

(1) Presentation of proposed FY2011 Operating Budget – Interim Director of Finance.

(2) Adoption of 2010 budget adjustment Resolution for various departments – Interim Director of Finance.

(3) Discussion regarding the transfer of SPLOST VI funds to the General Fund to cover the cost of employees’ salaries for hours worked on SPLOST VI road projects – Director of Engineering/County Manager.

(4) Request revision to the Director of Finance/Controller job description and consideration of a new description for an Assistant Director of Finance classification – Director of Personnel Services.

(5) Request by the Sheriff’s Office for approval of a budget adjustment Resolution to allow for the revenue and expense of the Sam Schwartz Engineering Agreement in the amount of $15,000.00 – Captain Chuck Smith.
(The agreement was approved by the Board at the 9/28/10 Work Session).

(6) Request for refund of taxes paid for open space in Parkstone Subdivision – District #4 - County Attorney.

(7) Appointment of members to the Development Authority to fill the unexpired terms of John Bryan and David Parker – County Manager.
(Postponed from 09/28/10 and 10/12/10 Work Session Agendas).

(8) Resolution establishing a Forsyth County Sewer Repurchase Policy – Director of Water & Sewer/County Attorney.
(Previously discussed at the 10/12/10 Work Session).

(9) Proposed modification to the Forsyth County Alcohol Ordinance – Commissioner Boff.
(Previously discussed at the 10/12/10 Work Session).

(10) Renewal of NALAA (Orr) Contract for Animal Control Facility Services – Commissioner Tam.
(Postponed from 10/12/10 Work Session Agenda).

(11) Request direction on Animal Shelter – County Manager.
(Previously discussed at the 10/12/10 Work Session).

(12) Approval of extension of Lease Agreement with Lakeland Southern Baptist Church – Procurement Director.

(13) Approval of Sewer Reservation Agreement with Hamzah Islamic Center – 1,300 gpd – Fulton – Big Creek – District #3 - Director of Water & Sewer.

(14) Approval of Task Order 25, Amendment 2, with CH2M Hill in an amount not to exceed $44,000.00 for review and responses to comments from the National Park Service on the environmental assessment – Director of Water & Sewer.

(15) Authorization to allow T-Mobile South, LLC to submit a Conditional Use Permit application for the purpose of placing a cell tower on county-owned property on Tolbert Street – District #1 – Interim Director of Planning & Development.

(16) Authorization to allow T-Mobile South, LLC to submit a Conditional Use Permit application for the purpose of placing a cell tower on county-owned property located at FC Windermere Park – District #2 – Interim Director of Planning & Development.

(17) Authorization to advertise for a Public Hearing regarding a county initiated expedited rezoning from RES3 to A1 for Timothy B. and Amy H. Crain – District #1 – Interim Director of Planning & Development.
