PUBLIC NOTICE
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a Called Meeting/Work Session on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Conference Room, Suite 210 in the Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 East Main Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040.
The purpose of the Called Meeting/Work Session will be for discussion and consideration of the items as outlined on the attached agenda and such other business as may properly come before the Board.

(1) Adoption of Resolution to set property tax due date – County Attorney/Deputy Tax Commissioner.

(2) Consideration and possible adoption of State Laws for Cemeteries – Commissioner Ledbetter.
(Postponed from 08/12/08 Called Meeting/Work Session Agenda).
(3) Approval of the 2008 Litter It Cost You Clean Community Grant award in
the amount of $64,974 from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs – Grants Administrator.
(4) Approval to apply for the United Way Priority Needs Grant in the amount of $6,000 to fund incentives, drug court community gatherings, retreats and health services – Grants Administrator.
(5) Approval to apply for the United Way Priority Needs Grant to fund medical care for participants and their children and incentives for participants – Grants Administrator.
(6) Approval of ballet and dance instruction at Pinecrest Academy per condition #5 placed on ZA# 2056 - Director of Planning & Development.
(7) Hillside Estates Payment Bond Release Agreement – County Attorney.
(8) Georgia Power request for easement along McGinnis Ferry Road – County Attorney.
(9) Continued discussion regarding the Fiscal Year 2008 Mid-Year Budget Report – Chief Financial Officer.
