PUBLIC NOTICE
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a Called Meeting/Work Session on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Conference Room, Suite 210 in the Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 East Main Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040.
The purpose of the Called Meeting/Work Session will be for discussion and consideration of the items as outlined on the attached agenda and such other business as may properly come before the Board.

(2) Approval of Forsyth County Bicycle Transportation & Pedestrian Walkways 2025 Plan: 2008 Update Director of Engineering.
(3) Contract between Forsyth County and Integro, Inc. to provide review services of the current Risk Management Program Chief Financial Officer/Risk Manager. (Previously discussed at a Called Meeting/Work Session held on April 22, 2008).
(4) Fiscal Year 2008 Mid-Year Budget Report Chief Financial Officer.
(5) Presentation and discussion of the 2009 Employee Benefit Plans comprised of Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, EAP, STD, LTD, Life/AD&D Chief Financial Officer/Director of Personnel Services.
(6) Construction Easements for Ronald Reagan Boulevard County Attorney.
(7) Adoption of Resolution to Set Property Tax Due Date County Attorney/Tax Commissioner.
(8) Consideration and possible adoption of State Laws for Cemeteries Commissioner Ledbetter.

(10) LaFarge Quarry Sheriffs Office Training Facility Lease County Attorney.
(11) Approval of submission of the 2008 Forsyth County Arts Alliance (FCAA) Grant application for the Parks & Recreation Department requires a 50% local match Grants Administrator.
(12) Approval of Grant Proposal/Application to the Council of Juvenile Court Judges (CJCJ) for $7,500 to be used in operating a Juvenile Program no match required Grants Administrator.
(13) Approval of Grant award of $34,034 for the FY 2009 Standing Committee on Accountability Courts Operational Program Grant - Grants Administrator.
(14) Approval of the submission of the 2008 Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority Recycling and Waste Reduction Grant in the amount of $22,050 for the Solid Waste Department Grants Administrator.
(15) Acceptance of Bid #08-81-3150 for resurfacing of County Roads Procurement Director.
(16) Acceptance of Bid #08-76-3340 for construction of the Fowler Five (5) Million Gallon Water Tank Procurement Director.
(17) Acceptance of Bid #08-75-3340 for construction of the Fowler Water Booster Pump Station Procurement Director.
