Amendments to Forsyth County Ethics Ordinance Approved
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved amendments to the Forsyth County Ethics Ordinance, Ordinance No. 77, at their meeting November 15, 2012.
The amendments to the Forsyth County Ethics Ordinance are to transition from a standing Forsyth County Ethics Board to an Ethics Panel system where the panel will be assembled on a case by case basis and comprised of out-of-county attorneys, delete the wrongful use provisions of the Ethics Ordinance, and other purposes.
Public hearings on this matter were held September 6, 2012 and November 15, 2012.
