Polls Open July 31 for General Primary and Non Partisan/Special Election
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31 for the General Primary and Non Partisan/Special Election.
Voters must go to their designated precinct location to vote on Election Day. NOTE: Due to changes in Precincts (voting locations) and Districts (Redistricting) over the last year it is highly possible your voting precinct / district may have changed. Please verify your Election Day precinct at www.forsythco.com prior to heading out to vote. For all in-person voting, remember to bring one of the six acceptable forms of photo identification. Please note there is no Absentee, Early or Advance Voting the Monday prior to any election.
Advance Voting Location May Not Be Your Designated Election Day Precinct
Remember, four of the five Advance Voting locations (Hampton Park Library, Sharon Springs Park Community Building, Cumming City Hall, and Midway Park Community Building) are Election Day voting precincts, however, on Election Day only those voters who are assigned to those designated precincts may cast their ballot there.
Administration Building Not Open For Voting On Election Day
Please be advised: The Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming, is open for Early/Saturday/Advance Voting but is not an Election Day voting precinct. The office of Voter Registrations and Elections in the Administration Building is open all day on Election Day to answer any questions a voter may have, however, there is no voting in the Administration Building on Election Day. A voter's polling location on Election Day is specific to where their residence (as registered) falls within designated precinct lines and in most cases is no more than 4 miles from a voter's house. Go to www.forsythco.com to verify your Election Day voting precinct.
