Advance Voting Underway for July 31 General Primary and Non Partisan/Special Election
Advance Voting Available this Week with Extended Voting Hours and Five Locations Advance Voting for the July 31 General Primary and Non Partisan/Special Election will be available Monday, July 23 through Friday, July 27.
All Forsyth County registered voters may take advantage of Advance Voting at any of the five Advance Voting locations throughout the county.
The following locations will be open during Advance Voting:
Downtown Cumming Forsyth County Administration Building 110 E. Main Street July 23 – July 27 Voting Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Downtown Cumming Cumming City Hall 100 Main Street July 23 – July 27 Voting Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
North Forsyth Area Hampton Park Library 5345 Settingdown Road July 23 – July 27 Voting Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
West Forsyth Area Midway Park Community Building 5100 Post Road July 23 – July 27 Voting Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
South Forsyth Area Sharon Springs Park Community Building 1950 Sharon Road July 23 – July 27 Voting Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For all in-person voting, voters should remember to bring one of the six acceptable forms of photo identification. For details and to view your Sample Ballot, visit the Voter Registrations and Elections Department page of the Forsyth County Web site at www.forsythco.com.
Remember, there is no Absentee, Early or Advance Voting on Monday, July 30. If you are unable to take advantage of Early/Saturday/Advance Voting you will need to go to your designated polling location on Tuesday, July 31. Polls will be open on July 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. NOTE: Due to changes in Precincts (voting locations) and Districts (Redistricting) over the last year it is highly possible your voting precinct/district may have changed. Please verify your Election Day precinct at www.forsythco.com prior to heading out to vote.
The July 31 election includes the statewide General Primary, the statewide Non Partisan Election and a statewide Special Election to vote on the Regional Transportation Referendum.
