Commissioners Recognize Leadership Forsyth Class of 2012
During their June 21, 2012 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized the Leadership Forsyth Class of 2012 for their class project, recently completed at the county’s Hearthstone Lodge Community Center.
Each year, the Leadership Forsyth class selects a project to complete that will enrich and benefit the county. The class of 2012 chose to enhance an existing outdoor trail and to add a LifeTrail Advanced Wellness System at the Hearthstone Lodge Community Center.
“The LifeTrail system features two outdoor fitness and activity stations located along the outdoor trail,” Commission Chairman Jim Boff said. “This will be a great addition to this facility, and Forsyth County is certainly appreciative of the efforts of the Leadership Forsyth Class of 2012.”
The Hearthstone Lodge Community Center serves active adults age 50+ and is located at 7305 Lanier Drive. It is one of three locations Forsyth County Senior Services offers to serve the community’s seniors. The Center at Charles Place is located at 595 Dahlonega Highway and the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center is located at 2115 Chloe Road.
