At their October 18, 2012 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners adopted the county’s 2013 operating budget. The $89.6 million General Fund budget was funded with no increase in the county’s property tax millage rate. Click here to view the budget.

Millage Rates

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing regarding the tentatively adopted millage rates for the 2012 tax digest and 2013 budget year on July 5, 2012.

At their July 19, 2012 meeting, the Board of Commissioners adopted the Maintenance and Operations, Fire, and Bond millage rates as follows:

4.812 Maintenance and Operation (net)
1.975 Fire
0.869 Bond

This represents no increase in the county’s millage rate. The county has the same total millage rate for the third consecutive year.
