Modifications to Forsyth County’s Alcohol Ordinance (Employee Sales Permits) Approved
At their June 21, 2012 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved modifications to Ordinance No. 68, Forsyth County’s Alcohol Ordinance, regarding sanctions for employee sales permits.
The modifications to Forsyth County’s Alcohol Ordinance are as to employee sales permits, particularly to introduce regulations authorizing (1) administrative processing of suspension periods for employee sales permits in certain situations, (2) an automatic suspension period for underage sales – subject to appeal, and (3) sanctions for non attendance at mandatory hearings, and (4) other related items; to provide for severability; to repeal conflicting ordinances; and for other purposes.
Public hearings on this matter were held June 7, 2012 and June 21, 2012.
