Amendment to Forsyth County’s Record Retention Ordinance Approved

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved amendments to Ordinance No. 90 (Amendment “B”), Forsyth County’s Record Retention Ordinance, at the board’s regular meeting on June 7, 2012. 

The modifications to Ordinance 90 are specifically to update to the 2010 Records Retention Schedules promulgated by the Secretary of State, Division of Archives and History. Public hearings on this matter were held May 3, 2012 and June 7, 2012.
