LOST, Service Delivery Strategy and City/County Water Contracts
At the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners meeting November 1, 2012, the board adopted the Resolution ratifying Service Delivery Strategy Forms and Intergovernmental Agreements previously tendered to the Department of Community Affairs.
At a special called joint meeting of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners and the City of Cumming Mayor and Council on October 26, 2012, both entities ratified a Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) Intergovernmental Agreement, an Intergovernmental Agreement related to funding of certain roadway projects as part of the LOST resolution, and a Raw and Finished Water Intergovernmental Agreement.

At their January 19, 2012 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners heard an overview presentation from County Attorney Ken Jarrard regarding LOST (Local Option Sales Tax), Service Delivery Strategy negotiations and city/county water contracts. No action was taken by the Board regarding these items.
