Assistant Director of Finance
Located in the Forsyth County Administration Building, the Forsyth County Finance Departmentís mission is to be the centralized focal point for overseeing financial programs/activities, providing financial leadership and expertise to county managers, and interpreting county goals/policies.
The Finance Department administers the County Budget, Treasury, Accounting and Internal Audit, assuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
The department provides financial support to all county departments in the implementation of goals/objectives established by the Board of Commissioners; advises county officials on debt matters, accounting issues, and other financial matters; analyzes financial data; and makes recommendations to assist county management in making financial decisions.
