2017 Forsyth County property tax bills are due Wednesday, November 15. In an effort to avoid longer wait times and to help process payments more efficiently, the Tax Commissioner’s Office encourages citizens to mail payment (via check or online banking) to its main office location located at 1092 Tribble Gap Road, Cumming, GA 30040. Forsyth County Offices and Facilities Closing at 3 p.m. Friday; Closed Saturday and Sunday
January 6, 2017: Due to current weather conditions, all general Forsyth County government offices will close today at 3 p.m. This early closure includes county government offices, the Forsyth County Courthouse and Courthouse Annex, the Animal Shelter, recycling convenience centers, Senior Services, and Forsyth County Parks & Recreation’s indoor and gated facilities. All Parks & Recreation programs and activities are cancelled.   Additionally, Forsyth County Parks & Recreation’s indoor and gated facilities, the recycling convenience centers and the Animal Shelter will be closed to the public Saturday and Sunday. All Parks & Recreation programs and activities are cancelled Saturday and Sunday.

Renovated Sharon Springs Tag Office Reopens
With renovations complete, the Sharon Springs branch of the Forsyth County Tax Commissioner’s Office, which is located inside Sharon Springs Park, reopened Monday, October 12. The renovation project involved increasing the size of the lobby/waiting area as well as a redesign of the customer service counters.
