Lady Justice Sculpture Unveiled
A sculpture of Lady Justice was unveiled Friday, November 6, in front of the Forsyth County Courthouse in downtown Cumming. Designed by local sculptor Gregory Johnson, Lady Justice symbolizes the fair and equal administration of the law, without corruption, avarice, prejudice or favor. A special thanks is extended to the Forsyth County Development Authority for their contribution toward the statue.

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing Thursday, November 5 at 5 p.m. to present the proposed 2016 operating budget for Forsyth County. The hearing will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room (Suite 220) in the Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. Renovated Sharon Springs Tag Office Reopens
With renovations complete, the Sharon Springs branch of the Forsyth County Tax Commissioner’s Office, which is located inside Sharon Springs Park, reopened Monday, October 12. The renovation project involved increasing the size of the lobby/waiting area as well as a redesign of the customer service counters. County Surplus Auction to be Held November 7
Forsyth County government will hold a surplus auction on Saturday, November 7, at 843 Canton Highway in Cumming.
