The first round of public workshops for Foster Forsyth, the process of updating the Forsyth County Comprehensive Plan, sought input from the community about the long-term priorities and vision for the county. Community members are now invited to imagine what that vision will look like at design workshops this May. Five design workshops will be held between May 11 and May 21, on varying days and times, and at a variety of locations. A public informational presentation by Wal-Mart representatives is scheduled for the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners regular meeting Thursday, May 5, 2016. The informational presentation will be regarding the Wal-Mart store at Highway 369/GA 400.   The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners May 5, 2016 meeting will take place at 5 p.m. in the Forsyth County Administration Building (Suite 220), located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/or interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.

Event is scheduled to celebrate Law Day On Tuesday, May 3, local students will get a first-hand look at Forsyth County’s judicial system. On this day, Chief Judge Jeffrey S.
