The Coal Mountain Overlay Committee will hold a meeting on Monday, February 6, 2017.

 

The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Large Conference Room, Suite 210 in the Forsyth County Administration Building located at 110 East Main Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040.

 

The purpose of the meeting will be for discussion of proposed Coal Mountain Overlay and as otherwise set forth in the Agenda.

Commissioner Cindy Mills called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

 2. Adoption of minutes

There was a motion by Christine Becnel and a second by Paul Hamby to adopt the meeting minutes.

Motion carried unanimously.

 3. Discussion by D. Tracy Ward, Architect

D. Tracy Ward discussed ways to plan and improve aesthetics.

 4. Discussion by community members

Community members discussed the history of Matt, Coal Mountain, and Hammond’s Crossing.

 5. Discussion regarding the Coal Mountain Overlay

Planning and Community Development Director Tom Brown, Advisor Candice Harp, and the Coal Mountain Overlay Committee discussed the Coal Mountain Overlay.

 6. Adjourn

Commissioner Cindy Mills adjourned the meeting at 8:02 p.m.
