    Proposed Changes to the Unified Development Code (UDC)

     

    Amendments to the text of the Unified Development Code (UDC) are regulated by Chapter 8, Article IV of the UDC. The code requires a minimum of two (2) public hearings. The first public hearing is held by the Planning Commission (PC); an appointed board which is tasked with making recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. The second public hearing is held by the Board of Commissioners (BOC) who will make the final decision on the proposed text amendment. Either board may hold additional hearings.

    Ch. 8 Modifications, GA 400 Landscape Strip, Farm Wineries

    §  2nd PC Public Hearing – scheduled for August 24th at 6:30 p.m.  Check back a few days prior to the meeting for the draft meeting agenda.
