PUBLIC HEARING MODIFICATION OF ORDINANCE 87 - UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE (UDC)

The Forsyth County Board of Commissoners will hold a public hearing on February 4, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. in the Forsyth County Administration Building, Conference Room, Second Floor, Cumming, Georgia.  This public hearing will be held in order to consider changes to Forsyth County Ordinance 87 - Unified Development Code. These changes are related to a proposed agricultural-recreational zoning district involving UDC Ch. 3 and Ch. 15 originally presented on 9/22/09 and 10/27/09 before the Planning Commission.  The draft components are listed below under 'AG-REC.'

The Forsyth County Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners held public hearings on August 26, September 4, and October 2, 2008, in order to consider changes to Forsyth County Ordinance 87 - Unified Development Code. These changes were related to heliports and helipads involving UDC Ch. 3, Ch. 12, Ch. 14, Ch. 15, and Ch. 16, Article 1. The Board of Commissioners adopted changes on October 2, 2008.  Please reference the revised chapters below to review these changes.

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners and Planning Commission held public hearings in order to consider changes to Forsyth County Ordinance 87 - Unified Development Code concerning outdoor lighting on February 26, April 3, May 1, and June 5, 2008. The Board of Commissioners adopted changes on July 17, 2008.
