How to Submit a Completed Voter Registration Application Your submitted Voter Registration Application must include a signature; therefore, we are unable to process Applications submitted electronically. Mail the completed Application to either of the following addresses:

NOTE: In Georgia, voters must be registered to vote 30 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote in that election.

Georgia Voters do NOT Register by Party In Georgia, voters do not register to vote by party. On the day of a Primary, each voter chooses a Democratic, Republican or Non-Partisan/Special Election (if applicable) ballot. In the case of a runoff, those who chose a Democratic ballot in the Primary can only vote a Democratic ballot in the Primary Runoff. Those who chose a Republican ballot in the Primary can only vote Republican ballot in the Primary Runoff. Those registered voters who did not vote in the Primary or who voted a Non-Partisan/Special Election ballot can choose either a Democratic, Republican or NonPartisan/Special Election (if applicable) ballot in the Primary Runoff.
Other Ways to Register Voter Registration forms are available at the Voter Registrar's office on the second floor of the Forsyth County Administration Building (Suite 200). You can also register to vote at any public library in Forsyth County, and leave the registration form with the librarian. With the passing of the National Voter Registration Act, also known as the "Motor Voter" law, residents can register at the same time they receive their driver's license.
