Online Bidding Instructions

You can view a list of the Forsyth County’s Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Invitation to Bid (ITB) opportunities on the Forsyth County website. New solicitations will be accessible through the Bonfire Interactive site.

Forsyth County has partnered with Bonfire Interactive to create a new procurement portal that will allow you to receive notifications of business opportunities and submit bids and proposal to Forsyth County digitally.

Suppliers will need to register with Bonfire (one-time) it is easy and free. When you click on Bids and Results and choose the solicitation, you will be redirected to the Bonfire website.

If you experience trouble with Registration into Bonfire, support can be reached by calling 1-800-354-8010 ext. 2 or e-mail Support@GoBonfire.com. Support is available Monday to Friday 8 AM-8 PM EST.

If a supplier is awarded a project, they will also need to ensure they are registered with Forsyth County Vendor Self Service Portal.

Description: Approximately 8 Sections of concrete have some movement when fire equipment drives across. One area has a low spot that holds water. Concrete is estimated to be approximately 18 years old and installed when the facilities were built in 2006. Concrete pads are heavy duty and estimated to be 6-8” thick. Each separate slab is 12’ X 12’. Recommend the affected areas be injected with a two-part expanding polyurethane foam with required amounts to fill existing voids and stabilize the slabs. Contractor will be responsible for filling all holes drilled for the injection process with an equivalent hydraulic cement. Project closes May 02, 2024 2:00 PM EDT.

BID NO. 22-60-3300
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022 for the following:
Providing all materials, equipment and labor for the Parkstone Wastewater Treatment Plant Phaseout. All work to be completed as detailed in Hayes James Parkstone WWTP Phaseout Clearing and Grading Plans dated January 11, 2022.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 21, 2022, all parties must be in attendance of the meeting within 10 minutes of start time. Parkstone Wastewater Treatment Plant 6329 Bridge Brook Overlook, Cumming, GA 30028
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure examination of the bid documents and site and to submit any questions / requests for clarification as directed within the Bid Documents.
The envelopes containing the Bids must be sealed, addressed to Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, GA, delivered to the Forsyth County Purchasing Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, GA 30040, and designated as Bid No. 22-60-3300 in the lower left-hand corner. No bids will be accepted after 2:00 p.m., July 14, 2022.
Copies of the bidding documents may be downloaded for no cost at www.forsythco.com. Instructions on how to obtain the bid documents are located at the top of the “Bids & Results” page.
Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a Bid Bond, or a Certified or Cashier's Check to the order of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid and a Consent of Surety form from a surety company licensed to conduct business in the State of Georgia, engaging to furnish, upon award of the Contract, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the completed work and the appropriate insurance certificate.
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening, thereof.
Award of bid will be made at a later date. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders and the general public are invited to view the bid opening at 2:30 p.m.,
Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, Georgia.
