Spring 2018 Application Packet
Now in its fifth year, the 10-week Forsyth County Fire Department Citizens’ Fire Academy offers participants an inside look at the profession of firefighting, hands-on experience with equipment used by the fire department as well as an opportunity to interact with first responders. Forsyth County residents interested in participating are invited to register for the upcoming program, which provides a chance to learn about the variety of services the department provides.
The Citizens’ Fire Academy will be held on 10 consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, March 6, and continuing through May 8, with end-of-session activities on Saturday, May 12. The course will be held at Fire Department Headquarters at the Forsyth County Public Safety Complex located at 3520 Settingdown Road in northern Forsyth County.
