The Stormwater Division implements Forsyth County's Stormwater Management Program, including enforcement of the Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance, the environmental monitoring and pollution prevention programs, inspection of detention facilities and drainage systems.

Stormwater Ordinances and Addendums

Forsyth County Addendum GA Stormwater Mgt. Manual:   On June 21, 2004, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved the adoption of the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual and the Forsyth County Addendum to the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual. The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved revisions to the Manual on December 2, 2021.

Elevation Certificate Form – is used to provide elevation information necessary to ensure compliance with community floodplain management ordinances, to determine the proper insurance premium rate.
