Special Event Permit

A Special Event Permit is required for more than three participants who wish to use public property or public roads for the purposes of holding a race, parade, assembly, or other similar activity.

If you are interested in obtaining a Special Event Permit, please complete the application and the release and waiver form and return the documents to the Office of the County Manager at 110 East Main Street, Suite 210, Cumming, GA 30040. Your application must be received 15 days prior to your event or it will not be accepted. If your event involves the use of a park and recreation facility, please review the Special Event Permit Information for Parks & Recreation.

For your convenience, also included is a current schedule of events that have been permitted by the county. This list provides the date, start time and start location of the permitted event.
