Boy Scout Visit

Boy Scout Visit
I had the pleasure of hosting Boy Scout Troop 39 from Cumming yesterday. These scouts are working on their Citizen in the Community merit badge with requirements to meet with a local official, ask questions and then attend a local government meeting. After our meeting, the scouts attended the Board of Commissioners’ meeting where they led the Pledge of Allegiance.

SR 20 Widening

SR 20 Widening

We had a great turnout for the GDOT SR20 Widening meeting at Otwell Middle School last night. I know many of you are opposed to 6 lanes and the so called Michigan U-Turn. Please contact GDOT to voice your concerns. Cleopatra James, Georgia DOT Project Manager, 404-631-1546 or written comments to Eric Duff, State Environmental Administrator, 600 West Peachtree Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.
